Excellence in their respective fields of expertise has been the guiding principle in assembling the white’R team. We have strived to achieve balance among academic and research institutions, system development companies, and industrial end users to form a “Lean and Efficient Organization”.

The RTD partners have been selected on their strong expertise in the project related topics. They have a wide experience in topics related to advanced and highly automated production solutions from the configuration to the optimization, the operation and business management, the automation and control as well as the sustainability assessment. They also count a wide number of professional relationships with the industrial landscape of their countries as well as an active role in the European Initiatives within EFFRA, NMP, EUREKA and IMS communities.

The RTD partner involvement will constitute a solid backbone so to target new research outcomes and benchmarks in the high value added optoelectronics manufacturing. SUPSI, POLIMI and UNI PATRAS have a very strong and long experience in the field of manufacturing technologies and production systems, also testified by the number of national and international projects successfully executed as leaders and participants.

The industrial partnership has been shaped by focusing on the need to develop the actual demonstrators, thus selecting the players addressing a deep business and strategic oriented interests in the project goals and presenting the expertise and the skills to carry out and finalizing the development of reconfigurable robotic clear room pilots. The development of white’R solutions will be endorsed by a number of technology providers on the basis of the functional, operational and performance specifications given by the end users with the support of the company enabling the technology transfer.
